I am an accomplished lighting technician covering a range of roles in the lighting department from system tech, dimmer tech, repair tech, followspot operator, programmer and designer. I combine in depth knowledge of control systems such as DMX512, practical lighting skills and an artistic design flair.
I work across all types of lighting: theatre, live bands, discos, corporate events and dance shows.
Vocational Qualifications
- I hold a PAL license covering categories 1b, 3a, 3b and PAV (static boom, mobile vertical, mobile boom and Push Around Vertical).
- I hold a qualification in working at height utilising work positioning equipment.
- I am an experienced ETC programmer
- I am an Avolites Certified Programmer
- I have undertaken a course in the Robe Robospot ground control follow spot system
- I hold City and Guilds 2382-18 (Requirements for Electrical Installations), 2391-52 (Electrical Inspection and Testing) and NA7909 (Temporary Electrical Systems).
- I hold a full, clean British driving licence (category B) and regularly drive vehicles sized up to LWB vans.
